Dorothy E. Rogers

Dorothy E. Rogers, 94, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Logan. She was born September 19, 1918 in Boone County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Otis D. and Lilly Hill Harold. Dorothy was married for 63 years to the late Paul D. Rogers.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Logan.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, James D. (Paula) Rogers of Logan and Rodney D. (Sherri) Rogers of Hamden; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one brother.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Dorothy Jane Rogers; three sisters.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, January 5, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Brian Arnold officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
