Donna Kay Collins Hale

Donna Kay Collins Hale, 69, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Arbors of Gallipolis in Gallipolis. She was born March 15, 1943 in New Boston, Ohio, daughter of the late Donald and Virginia Sizemore Collins. Donna was married to Glen Hale, who survives.

She graduated in 1961 from Wilton High School in Wilkesville. Donna was a Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member and Historian of the American Legion Post #476 in Wilkesville, a member of the D.A.V.A, a member of the Amvets Post #93 in Albany and she was the past Commander of Athens American Legion Post #21 in Athens.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her sons, Terry Wayne (Kelly West) Hale of McArthur and Christopher Nathan (Stacy) Hale of Wilkesville and grandchildren, Nikki Lynn (Brinton) Hale Raines of Okinawa, Japan and Thomas Gregory Hale of Lancaster.

Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Friday from 1-3 P.M. Cremation will follow the visitation.
