Myrle G. Carpenter

January 17, 1927 — January 11, 2013

Myrle G. Carpenter, 85, of Maxville, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born January 17, 1927 in Perry County, daughter of the late Arthur and Velma Irene Goodlive Mohler. Myrle was the widow of the late Charles “Frank” Carpenter.

She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Myrle is survived by her sons, Glen (Shirley) Carpenter of Logan and Roger (Dodie) Carpenter of Maxville; daughter, Diane (Hubert) Taulbee of Logan; grandchildren, Keith (Kelly) Taulbee, Amy (Don) Russell, Marisa Wilson, Matthew Carpenter, Ryan (Kimberly) Carpenter and Michelle (Scott) Ries; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Arleen (Robert) Fuller of Sugar Grove and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Mohler, Mary (Clyde) Wahl and Louise Carpenter.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clyde (Barbara) Mohler and Raymond Mohler; brothers-in-law, Jacob Carpenter and Claude Crane and a sister-in-law, Lorene (James) Billman.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Logan, with Pastor Steve Hubbard and Rev. Charles Spier officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Monday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the services at the church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Myrle G. Carpenter to Ebenezer Baptist Church Building Fund, 7094 Twp Rd., 234, Logan, Ohio 43138.
