Luther "Luke" N. Christman

Luther N. “Luke” Christman, 51, of Nelsonville, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 19, 1961 in Athens County, son of Vivian George Thress of Nelsonville. Luke was married to Dawn Kirkendall Christman, who survives.

He was the former maintenance supervisor at Tri County Community Action.

In addition to his mother and wife, Luke is survived by his daughters, Misty (Jeff) Lehman and Tessica (Ron) Addis both of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Seth, Skylar and Kayla Lehman, and Jacob, Jennah, Justin and Jessie Addis; great grandchild, Carsynn Anne Lehman; brothers, Jerry Christman of Glouster and Raymond (Sheryl) Thress of Nelsonville; sisters, Evelyn (Paul) Jenkins of Glouster, Bonnie Albright of Nelsonville and Angie Bowers of Nelsonville and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Albright.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, January 17, 2013 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
