Kathleen E. Hamrick

Kathleen E. Hamrick, 94, of Logan, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 9, 1918 in Dennison, Ohio, daughter of the late William Strahan and Rachel Lott Greene. Kathleen was the widow of the late Curtis C. Hamrick.

She retired from Goodyear in Logan and owned and operated Hamricks General Store for 40 years.

Kathleen is survived by her sons, Curtis G. Hamrick of Mulberry Florida and Ronald D. Hamrick of Logan; daughters, Terri R. Herrick of Logan, Brenda S. Yeknich of Indianapolis and Debra L. Hamrick of Logan; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren and a brother, Gerald Strahan of Hudson, Florida.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara McNeal; son-in-law, William McNeal; daughter-in-law, Sue Hamrick; grandchildren, Gary T. Cook and Kera L. Donahoe and her sister Rella Braden.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hocking County,with Rev. Carl Radcliff officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
