Anna Mae Bolton Gibbs

Anna Mae Bolton Gibbs, 74, of Hamden, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 26, 1938 in Hamden, Ohio, daughter of the late Richard V. and Ida G. Griffith Bolton.

She graduated from Hamden High School in 1956.

Anna Mae is survived by her son, Timothy Gibbs of Wellston; daughters, Ida (Frank) Hollingshead of Hamden, Carol Massie of Hamden and Berneice (Danny) Minton of McArthur; grandchildren, Stephanie Massie, Joshua Peters, Teresa Whited, Nakayla Gibbs and Heather Hollingshead; great grandchildren, Hannah and Peyton Eby, Jacob and Brooklyn Whited and Addison Gibbs and a special friend, Roxanne Tipton of Hamden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Gibbs; son, Rex Gibbs; grandson, Jeremy Peters; sisters, Berneice Roach and Virgene Kauffman and a brother, Richard E. Bolton.

Private graveside services will be held in Hamden Cemetery, Hamden, Wednesday, January 16, 2013, with Rev. Danny Minton officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Anna Mae Gibbs to the American Cancer Society Central Region Office-HCKG, 5555 Frank Rd., Dublin, Ohio 43017.
