Patrick V. Cone

Patrick V. Cone, 59, of Athens, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 26, 1953 in Athens, son of Robert B. and Dorothy J. Sharpe Cone, of Athens.

Patrick was a professional guitar player with the Double Shot Band and in previous years, he played in New Orleans, Las Vegas and other cities. He also was a part time mechanic and body technician. He loved to restore Volkswagons.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Sheldon Cone of Arizona; daughter, Maria Cone of Arizona; granddaughter, Jasmine; nephews, Jeremy and Justin Cone both of Columbus and a special friend, Barbara Spencer.

Patrick was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda and brother, Michael Cone.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster, with Rod Ross officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.
