Raymond David Whightsel

Raymond David Whightsel, 59, of Hamden, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born June 22, 1953 in Lancaster, son of the late Paul Whightsel and Deloris Anthony Holt. David was married to Diana Franke Whightsel, who survives.

David is survived by a son, David William Whightsel of Hamden; daughters, Leslie Herron of Lancaster, Crystal (David) Roland of Hamden and Samantha Whightsel of Hamden; five grandchildren; brothers, Rocky Whightsel of McArthur, Chris Whightsel of Rushville and Randy Holt of Lancaster and a sister, Ronda Robinson of Wilmington, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, February 8, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
