Mary Louise Palmer

Mary Louise (Pierce) Palmer, 89, passed away on February 11, 2013 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law near Piketon, Ohio. She formerly lived in Radcliff, Ohio.

Mary was a retired secondary teacher for much of her career, teaching in Vinton County.

She was the widow of John B. Palmer, who was also an educator. Mary was preceded in death by her husband and parents, Clyde and Gladys Pierce.

She is survived by her children, Tara (Daniel) Ruggles and John Jr. (Connie) Palmer; grandchildren, Leah (Jonathan) Smith, Daniel Heath Ruggles and Jay (Lola) Palmer; great grandchildren, Tristan Smith, Gage and Miranda Burris; sisters, Jean Madden and Ardath Shelton; brother-in-law, James (Ann) Palmer and several cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Burial will be in Radcliff Cemetery, Radcliff. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
