Richard E. “Rick” Puckett, 70, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 10, 1942 in Pickaway County, Ohio, son of the late Emerson and Angeline “Grammy” Shepard Puckett. Rick was married to Brenda McNichols Puckett, who survives.
Rick was a Logger, Army Veteran, a member of Redmens Lodge, a member of the Eagles and American Legion.
He is survived by his sons, Ricky Puckett, Gary (Pam) Puckett of South Perry and Larry (Angie) Puckett of Londonderry; daughter, Michelle (Rodney Malone) Lamb of McArthur; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Don (Amy) Puckett of Ray and Sam Puckett of Chillicothe and sisters, Mary Ann (John) Ragland of Urbana, Lois (Robert) Peoples of Dundas and Joyce (Larry) Huff of Hillsboro.
In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Puckett; infant daughter; granddaughter, Kealee Ann Puckett; grandson, Justin Puckett and brothers, Arnold and William Puckett.
Graveside services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Fairview Cemetery, Ray, Ohio. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Wednesday, from 5-8 P.M. where a Redman service will be held at 7:30 P.M.
