Timothy A. Sheets

Timothy A. Sheets, 57, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 9, 1955 in Nelsonville, son of the late W. John and Virgene Grinstead Sheets. Tim was married for 33 years to Connie Viola Edwards Sheets, who survives.

He formerly worked for Lengyel Insulation, Brooks Shoe Factory, Coffman Staircase, Ross Cast Metal and Seneca Steel.

Tim is survived by his children and stepchildren, Tim Sheets of Nelsonville, Gary Jack (Crystal) Sheets of Reynoldsburg, Robbie (Heather) Sheets of West Virginia; Misty (Chris Wolf) Sheets of Nelsonville, Spirit Sheets of Athens, Becky (Pete) Watkins of Nelsonville and Angie (David) Hopkins of Nelsonville; eighteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, John Sheets of Nelsonville, Roy (Carol) Sheets of Nelsonville, Bob (Becky) Sheets of Albany, Mike (Connie) Sheets of Albany, Steve (Terri) Sheets of McArthur and Chuck (Christy) Sheets of Athens; special aunt and uncle, Dan and Judy Sheets and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary and Christy Sheets; sister-in-law, Judy Sheets and Chub Edwards.

Tim’s wishes were to be cremated. No visitation or services will be held. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
