Opal Rose Mullins

Opal Rose Mullins, 69, of Ray, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 11, 1943 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Manring and Mary Markin Perry. Rose was married to Paul Mullins, who survives.

She was a member of Allensville Church of Christ In Christian Union.

Rose is survived by her children, Eddie (Martha) Mullins of Ray, Mary Lou (David) Vickers of Wellston, Diana Deck of Ray and Patrick Mullins of Mason, West Virginia; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother; twelve sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Mullins; sister, Marletta “Jakie” Betts and brother, Ronnie Perry.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in the Allensville Church of Christ In Christian Union, with Pastor Phil DeMint officiating. Interment will be in Bowen Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
