Charles Robert Polley

Charles Robert Polley, 66, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. He was born April 8, 1946 in Nelsonville, son of the late William and Frances Mann Polley. Charles was married for 44 years to Katherine Peppers Polley, who survives.

He retired from Goodyear in Logan after 34 years of service and was employed at Hide-A-Way Hills.

Charles is survived by his son, Robert Anthony Polley of Reynoldsburg; daughter, Carissa Lynn Polley of Logan; grandchildren, Trevon Polley Davis, Brittany and Breanna Polley; brothers, William (Rose) Polley Jr. of Logan and Gary Thomas (Kathy) Polley of Nelsonville and a sister, Dianne (Rufus) Suttice of Sun Valley, California.

In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Richard Polley.

Funeral services will be held 3 P.M., Friday, March 1, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.
