Ronald "Cookie" T. Buttrick

Ronald T. “Cookie” Buttrick, 71, of Logan, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. He was born April 4, 1941 in Mendon, West Virginia, son of the late Carl and Florence Nelson Buttrick. Cookie was married for 53 years to Nancy Kornell Buttrick, who survives.

He retired from Sawmiller in Haydenville, drove for Logan Public Transportation and was a member of the Logan Moose Lodge.

Cookie is survived by his sons, Tim (Janet) Buttrick of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Dennis (Valorie) Buttrick of Logan; daughters, Carol Buttrick of Logan and Wendy (Doug) Carr of Wayne, Ohio; three grandchildren; brothers, Carl Buttrick of Creola, Kenny Buttrick of Utah and Mike Buttrick of Newark and a sister, Betty Meece of Jackson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bernie Buttrick and sister, Carol Buttrick.

Cookie’s wishes were to be cremated. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
