Danny Junior Warren

Danny Junior Warren, 74, of Nelsonville, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born December 9, 1938 in Athens County, son of the late Charles and Lillian Bryan Warren. Danny was married for 51 years to Mary Smith Warren, who survives.

He retired from Carborundum in Logan, was a member of the Old Timers Association and was a little league coach in Nelsonville and Athens.

Danny is survived by his sons, Danny C. (Gina Burgess) Warren of Nelsonville, Kevin H. (Kathy Spencer) Warren of Nelsonville, Christopher (Andrea) Warren of New Lexington and Conner Lee Warren of Nelsonville; daughters, Lori Lynn Leedy of Barlow and Kendra Marie Warren of Nelsonville; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Ruth) Warren of Nelsonville; Thomas (Joey) Warren of Logan, Wayne Warren of Nelsonville and Mike (Vickie) Warren of Nelsonville; a sister, Patricia (Roger) McCulloch of Nelsonville; special grandson, Chuckie Warren of The Plains and his beloved dogs, Pepe and Max.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Warren.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 4-8 P.M.
