Marilyn Sue Armstrong

Marilyn Sue Armstrong, 69, of Worthington, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware, Ohio. She was born June 15, 1943 in Vinton County, daughter of the late John Smathers and Celia Smathers Spiers.

She attended the Vineyard Church in Westerville.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, Brad W. (Robin) Armstrong of Worthington and Todd (Michelle) Armstrong of Columbus and daughter, Deanna McCoy of Worthington; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and the love of her life, Jack Armstrong of Westerville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris McMan and Kathleen Smathers and brothers, Jonny Smathers and Cotton Smathers.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday , March 16, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Bill Armstrong officiating. Interment is in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from
9 A.M. until the time of the service.
