Floyd "Bub" E. Carter Jr.

Floyd E. “Bub” Carter Jr., 53, of Haydenville, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born November 5, 1959 in Nelsonville, son of the late Floyd E. and Mary J. Fullencamp Carter Sr. Bub was married for 27 years to Catherine M. “Kitty” Bennett Carter, who survives.

He retired from the Eastside Nursery.

Bub is survived by his sons, Thomas B. Carter and Justin M. Carter both of Haydenville; daughter, Amanda Carter of Haydenville; brothers, Harold (Bonnie) Kidwell of Groveport, Louis (Teresa) Kidwell of Stewart, James (Sandy) Kidwell of Pataskala, Robert (Annie) Wagner of Kettering and Henry (Anna) Carter of Buckeye Lake; sisters, Laura (Delbert) Beavers of Logan, Alice Augustine of Kentucky, Kathy (Don) Keeney of Logan, Dotty (Jim) Morrison of Florida and Nellie Carter of Logan and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary C. Carter.

Funeral services will be held 12 P.M., Friday, March 29, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Pastor Andy Good and Pastor Mark Barrell officiating. Interment will be in Glouster Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Floyd E. “Bub” Carter Jr. to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
