James "Mike" Michael Mcknight

James Michael McKnight, 72, of Logan, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1941 in Ironton, Ohio, son of Olga Adams Stofle of Reynoldsburg and the late Wilber McKnight. Mike was married to Donna Jean Green McKnight, who survives.

He owned and operated McKnight Plumbing and Remolding in Columbus and was an Army Veteran. Mike was a member of Livingston United Methodist Church in Columbus and attends Immanuel United Methodist Church in Logan. He was a member of Celebration Singers in Lancaster and was a guest soloist at many churches throughout Central Ohio.

Mike is survived by his son, Michael Scott (Missy) McKnight of Pickerington; daughter, Mindy (Michael) Stenson of Pickerington; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew P. McKnight.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Immanuel United Methodist Church, 66 E. Hunter St., Logan, with Rev. Gerald Frazee officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Tuesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
