Debbie J. Ringhiser, 52, of Logan, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 30, 1960 in Nelsonville, daughter of Rodger Burchfield of Nelsonville and the late Linda Brenick Mason. Debbie was the widow of the late Walter Eugene Ringhiser.
She formerly worked at Smead Manufacturing in Logan and was the former President of the Women’s Eagles Auxiliary in Logan.
Debbie is survived by her daughter, Renee (Joe Robinette) Short of Lancaster; foster son, James Lutz of Logan; grandchildren, Corey Ringhiser, Cody Ringhiser, Cayden Short, Cruz Short and Josslyn Robinette; brother, Glen Burchfield of Haydenville; sisters, Vickie Erdy of Glouster and Tona Sherritt of Logan; stepfather, Larry Mason of Lancaster; fiancée, Burl Carroll of Logan and stepmother, Jeannie Burchfield of Nelsonville. She was an adored aunt of many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Ringhiser.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, April 18, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 12 P.M. until the time of the service.
