Nancy L. Young

Nancy L. Young, 67, of Carbondale, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at her brothers residence in New Marshfield. She was born June 19, 1945 in Athens, daughter of the late Lester Arlond and Esther Vivian Auker Pittman.

She was employed at Ohio University in the Payroll Department for 29 years.

Nancy is survived by her brother, Ronald W. (Shirley) Pittman of New Marshfield and Clayton (Buck) Pittman of Lancaster; sisters, Carol (Denver) Stump of Athens and Marilyn (Merril) Dickerson of New Marshfield and her very best friend, Linda McDonald of Nelsonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Robert Pittman and Lester “Pud” Pittman Jr. and a sister, Letta Lee Dickerson.

At Nancy’s request, no services or calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
