Susan Kay Mcdaniel

Susan Kay McDaniel, 62, of Hamden, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 31, 1951 in Kettering, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Collett Dieckman. Susan was the widow of the late Johnny McDaniel.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in McArthur.

Susan is survived by her sons, John Edward McDaniel of Hamden and Richard (Nikki) McDaniel of McArthur; grandchildren, Nathen, Kristaen, Jennifer and Taylor; great grandchildren, Khloe and McKinze; brothers, Steve Dieckman of Centerville, Charles Diekman of Porterfield, Wisconsin and Cleve Dieckman of Merritt Island, Florida and her sister-in-law, Katie Dieckman of Caryville, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Dieckman and sister, Nancy Doughman.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Friday, April 19, 2013 in the Grace Baptist Church, 201 E. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Vince Williams officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call Friday, one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
