Bruce Eugene Chesser Sr.

Bruce Eugene Chesser Sr., 74, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born April 10, 1939 in Zaleski, Ohio, son of the late Raymond Chesser and Anna Mae Riley Allen. Bruce was married to Maragene Ekey Chesser, who survives.

He formerly worked for Eagle Rubber Company in Ashland, Ohio and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Bruce is survived by his son, Bruce E. Chesser Jr., of McArthur; daughters, Jody Lynn Voris of Oklahoma, Roxann (Charley) Brown of McArthur, Pearl Remy of Williamsport, Ohio, Maragene Graham of Findlay, Ohio, Karla Speck of Obetz, Ohio and Christina (Bruce) Ray of Chillicothe; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Terry Bartlett of Sandusky and a sister, Brenda Younce of Polk, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren and brothers, Edward and James Chesser.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Friday, May 17, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Walter Norris officiating. Interment will be in Madison Cemetery, Zaleski. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.
