Ruth A. Chaffin

Ruth A. Chaffin, 83, of Logan, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Kindred Care and Rehabilitation Center in Logan. She was born November 16, 1929 in Logan, daughter of the late William and Estella Roe Taylor. Ruth is the widow of the late Charles C. Chaffin.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Calvin (Sharon) Chaffin of Logan, Robert (Pam) Chaffin of The Plains and Ralph (Pam) Chaffin of Logan; grandchildren, Albert, Cheryl, Jennifer, Linda and Samantha; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor James Ditty officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Ruth A. Chaffin to the First Baptist Church, 399 Norwood Ave., Logan, Ohio 43138.
