Donald Ray Stafford

Reverend Donald Ray Stafford, 80, of Mt. Perry, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family.

Donald was born August 23, 1932 in West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents Garland and Roxie (Kirk) Stafford; brothers, Arthur and Troy Safford and sisters, Alma Baisden and Madlene Hall.

Donald is survived by his children Paul (Betty) Stafford, Dallas (Carol) Stafford, Timothy (Barbara) Stafford and Ella (Stanley) Webb all of Logan; sister, Helen Shafer of Mt. Sterling; brother, Denny Stafford of West Virginia; stepdaughter, Fredia Elkins of Mt. Perry; grandchildren, Evonna (Jim) Hartshorn of Laurelville, Rolonda (Joshua) Lavely of Logan, Joni (Ryan) Byers of Florida, Amanda Stafford of South Dakota, Franklin JR (TJ), Joshua and Kristofer Varney all of Logan; stepgrandchildren, Gabriel and Stanley Marcum of West Virginia and eleven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Donalds name to King’s Daughters Medical Center, Heart Center, 2201 Lexington Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.

Cremation will take place per his request with no viewing. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
