Lillian Kay Lengyel Linton

Lillian Kay Lengyel Linton, 77, of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at her residence. She was born December 27, 1935 in Athens County, daughter of the late Floyd and Dorothy Hartley Dearth. Lillian was married to Danny L. Linton, who survives.

She retired from Brooks Shoe Factory, graduated from Nelsonville High School in 1953, was a member of Nelsonville Church of The Nazarene and formerly worked at Goodyear.

She is survived by her son, Rex (Brenda) Lengyel of Nelsonville; daughter, Twinkle Elizabeth (Doug) White of Rome, Georgia; stepson, Pat (Carol) Linton of Lilburn, Georgia; stepdaughter, Cindy Linton of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Lindsey Kay White and Audrey (Aaron) Silvey; step grandchildren, Katie and Patrick Linton; sister, Jean Marsh of Columbus; great aunt, Betty Hartley of Nelsonville and cousins, Alma Jo Midkiff of Nelsonville and Pat Angel of Circleville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Lengyel; brother, James Dearth and stepson, Dan Linton.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, June 7, 2013 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Ed True officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.
