Daniel Will Goodwin

Daniel Will Goodwin, 67, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at his residence. He was born February 13, 1946 in McArthur, son of the late Howard Ross and Dorthy Mason Goodwin.

Daniel was a social worker.

He is survived by his daughters, Tamara Goodwin, Marsha (Scott) Ward and Johnna Goodwin all of McArthur; grandchildren, Dane Remy, Broderic Remy, Hunter Wright, Tyler Ward, Josie Ward, Max Ward, Dillon Goodwin, Chase Goodwin, Jonathon Vanover and Jennylynn Vanover; sister, Damaris Goodwin of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; two nieces and one nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Goodwin and fiancée Susan Francisco.

Funeral services will be held 7 P.M., Monday, June 17, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 5 P.M. until the time of the service.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Daniel Goodwin to the Vinton County Senior Citizens Center, P.O. Box 481, McArthur, Ohio 45651.
