Ruth Ellen Bledsoe

Ruth Ellen Bledsoe, 75, of Londonderry, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born December 24, 1937 in Londonderry, Ohio, daughter of the late Heber and Marie Burt Stevens. Ruth was the widow of the late Eugene Bledsoe.

She was a retired Insurance Agent, a member of Pleasant Valley Trinity Church, Pleasant Valley Mystery Sisters and was a former 4-H Leader.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Randy) Turner and Christina (Steven) Knox, both of Londonderry; grandchildren, Kyndall Brown, Kellsie Brown, Kassidy Brown, Brandon Bledsoe and Mason Knox and a brother, Charles Stevens of Michigan.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Friday, June 21, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Trinity Church, 52850 Old Rt. 50, Londonderry with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Boblett Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Ruth Bledsoe to Pleasant Valley Mystery Sisters, 52580 Old Rt. 50, Londonderry, Ohio 45647.
