Roger Wayne Seitz

Roger Wayne Seitz, 69, of Londonderry, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Londonderry, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born June 13, 1944 in Vinton County, son of the late Vernon Harley and Marjorie Lucille Burt Seitz.

Roger was the owner of Seitz Excavating, attended Pleasant Valley Trinity Church and was a Harrison Township Trustee. He was a member of Delta Lodge #207 F&AM, Eagles, Moose and Amvets. Roger enjoyed racing with his son and grandson and always with #22.

He is survived by a son, David Wayne Seitz of Circleville; daughter, Kimberly Sue (Seitz) Thomas of Grove City; grandchildren, David Harley Seitz of Circleville and Megan Nicole Seitz of Ashville; brothers, Larry Seitz of Londonderry and Randy (Heidi) Seitz of Londonderry; girlfriend, Julia Stauffer and his dog and companion, Sophie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Seitz and an infant brother and sister-in-law, Joyce Seitz.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Trinity Church, 52850 Old Rt. 50, Londonderry, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Boblett Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at Pleasant Valley Trinity Church on Wednesday, from 5-8 P.M.
