Betty Irene Wyne

Betty Irene Wyne, 88, of Pomeroy, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in the Hospice Room at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. She was born August 9, 1924 in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clement Cloe and Carrie Inez Louder Copas. She was married to her husband, the late Joseph Wesley Wyne, for over 60 years.

Betty dedicated her life to the service of her God, Jehovah in December 1948 and attended the Middleport Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 40 years.

She survived by Daughters, Sherry (Dan Whallon) Sendral of Dayton and Lori (Randy) McDaniel of Pomeroy; grandchildren, Caresse Bennett of Dayton, Velvet Lopez of Georgetown, Texas, Heather Honeycutt-Wyne (Brent Honeycutt ) of Coon Rapids, Minnesota and Joel Sendral of Dayton; great grandchildren, Jonathon, Shelby and Copas Lopez, Amber and Carl Honeycutt and a special niece, Joi Lynn Smith.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Chester Mayo Copas, John Clement Copas and Della Carolyn Copas Royce.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Middleport Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses located on State Route 124, Middleport, Ohio with Jeff Guess officiating.
