Alicia Mcdonald Hill

September 20, 1968 — July 13, 2013

Alicia McDonald Hill, 44, of Pickerington, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born September 20, 1968 in Nelsonville, daughter of Mickey and Kathy Shea McDonald of McArthur.

Alicia was a nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, attended Sycamore Creek Church in Pickerington and was a member of several motorcycle groups, including the Columbus Chrome Divas.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Andrew and Isaiah Hill both of Jackson; brother, Mark McDonald of McArthur; several very special friends and a very special little girl, Remee Hill of Jackson.

Alicia’s wishes were to have her body donated to the Ohio University Willed Body Program. A memorial service will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Vinton County High School, 63910 US Hwy 50, McArthur. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Alicia McDonald Hill to the Vinton County National Bank, P.O. Box 460, McArthur, Ohio 45651 or The Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
