Verna “Mae” Wyckoff, 84, of Logan, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 At Rockmill Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster. She was born May 13, 1929 in Clear Lake, Iowa, daughter of the late Burbridge and Millie Bailey. Mae was the widow of the late Harold E. Wyckoff.
She retired from Goodyear in Logan and was a member of the First Church of Christ in Logan.
Mae is survived by her sons, Rick (Elaine) Wyckoff of Malta, Trent (Joyce) Wyckoff of Columbus and Harold (Laveta) Wyckoff of Fayetteville, North Carolina; daughters, Jane (James) King of Crooksville, Kathy (Tim) McDaniels of Rockbridge and Crystal (Al) Scillitani of Cary, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister, Minnie Jane Pendry of Matheny, West Virginia; special friend, Jeannie Brooks and her beloved dog, Fancy.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Danny and Steve Woody and several loving brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, July 25, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Mark Barrell and Rev. Andy Good officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
