Tanya Elaine Downard

Tanya Elaine Downard, 53, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Chillicothe Health and Rehabilitation Center in Chillicothe. She was born September 4, 1959 in Wellston, daughter of the late Raymond D. “Pete” and Judith Hope Nixon McClure.

She formerly worked at Belisio in Jackson and attended Antioch Church in Ray.

Tanya is survived by her sons, Gabe (Laura) Downard of Wellston and Kane Downard of McArthur; daughters, Koty (Matt) Yates of McArthur and Whitney Downard of McArthur; five grandchildren; brothers, Rex McClure of Oak Hill, Trent (LaDonna) McClure of Chillicothe, Chris (Melissa) McClure of Ray and Shane (Tina) McClure of Ridgewood; sister, Shauna (Randy) Smith of McArthur; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Rick Fout.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Mt. Olive Church, Allensville, with Pastor Bart Ankrom officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Allensville. Friends may call at the Mt. Olive Church on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
