Fontella J. Mills

Fontella J. Mills, 94, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Kindred Care and Rehabilitation Center in Logan. She was born November 13, 1918 in Logan, daughter of the late William F. and Anna G. Donaldson Richards. Fontella was the widow of the late Charles D. Mills.

She has been a member of the Logan Church of The Nazarene since 1935 and she was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Fontella is survived by her son, Don Mills of Groton, Connecticut; daughter, Ruth (Lowell) Reinschell of New Plymouth; grandchildren, Nadene Mills, Darrick Mills and Chad Reinschell; sister, Edna Patterson of Hilliard and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Carl Richards, Williard (Shirley) Richards and Donald (Barbara) Richards; a sister, Annabell (Floyd) Gardner and brother-in-law, Charles Patterson.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, August 31, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Pastor Bill Shepler officiating. Entombment will be in New Fairview Mausoleum, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 6-8 P.M.
