Jeffrey L. Ellinger

Jeffrey L. Ellinger, 59, of Logan, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 9, 1954 in Hocking County, son of Merle and Betty Frasure Ellinger, of Logan.

He was employed at E.C. Babbert Inc. in Canal Winchester and was a member of the National Barrel Horse Association.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by sons, Jeffrey E. Ellinger of Rockbridge and Nathan F. Ellinger of Logan; daughter, Jessica L. (Alan Watson) Ellinger of Chester, Ohio; grandchildren, Breanna Ellinger, Wyat Ellinger, Kaylee Ellinger, Audrianna Watson and Keira (Wilson) Brown; brother, Douglas Ellinger of New Jersey; special friends, Larry Dicken and Dave Rauber and his true companion, Carol L. Pugh and her daughters, Amanda (Ryan) Brown and Jess Pugh.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, September 5, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Evangelist Eddie Gibson officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Jeffrey L. Ellinger to the 4-H Club of your choice.
