Mae Puckett

June 26, 1926 — September 12, 2013

Mae Puckett, 87, passed peacefully at home on September 12, 2013, surrounded by family and dear friends. Born June 26, 1926 at Ironton, she was the only daughter of the late Harley and Martha Long.

Mae is survived by her husband Gene Puckett who she married on December 26, 1961.
Surviving are brother-in-law Kermit Puckett, Hamden; sister-in-law Rev. Kay (Frank) Puckett, niece Bonnie (Sam)Scott, nephews Dennis Puckett, and Darrel Puckett all of Wilkesville community. Special thanks to Larry & Krista Hedrick and family, and Linda Miller RN, & Sam Clemons of Heartland Hospice who made Mae’s final days easier.
Also preceding her in death were brother-in-law Frank Puckett, and sister-in-law Mable Puckett.

Mae was a member of Wilkesville Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and attended Wilkesville Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services will be held 12 P.M., Monday, September 16, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Chaplain George Vastine officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio.
