Carol B. Coleman

Carol B. Coleman, 77, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born December 10, 1935 in Dearborn, Michigan, daughter of the late Garner T. and Lois Freer Baldwin. Carol was married for 58 years to John D. “Jack” Coleman, who survives.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in McArthur.

In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her children, Karen M. Cooper of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jerry D. (Jan) Coleman of Wilmore, Kentucky, Jane (Paul Richards) Ruppen of Traverse City, Michigan and Tim (Shari) Coleman of Waynesville, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, Slade, Jesse, Sarah, Kristin, David, Amanda, John, Brendan, Keenan, Meredith and Alison; three great grandchildren, Alyssa, Hannah and Aurelie and sisters, Faith B. McInturff of Chicago and Jane B. Perry of Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church, 201 E. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Vince Williams officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Church Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Monday, from 4-7 P.M. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
