Kenneth E. Price

Kenneth E. Price, 85, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2103 at Maple Hills Nursing Home in McArthur. He was born February 25, 1928 in Springfield, Ohio, son of the late Floyd E. and Ethel Marie Palmer Price. Kenneth was married to the late Betty Mae Wright Price.

He was a WWII Air Force Veteran and attended Antioch Kelly Church.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Penni (Saleh) Alzayer of McArthur, Terri (Randy) Prater of Hamden and David K. (Eileen M.) Price of Johns Creek Georgia; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Qatif Alzayer; brother, Richard Price and sister, Alice Price Collins.

Private services will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Don Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, with military graveside services being conducted by the McArthur VFW Post #5299. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 5-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Kenneth E. Price to the Vinton County Education Foundation, 307 W. High St., McArthur, Ohio 45651.
