John David Parker

John David Parker, 56, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1957 in Vinton County, son of Juanita DePue Parker of McArthur and the late James Russell Parker.

John is survived by his brothers, Jack Parker of Wellston and Beau Parker of Virginia; sisters Connie Thacker of McArthur, Loretta Parker of Hamden, Betty Parker of McArthur, Lorena Stephenson of Wellston, Sandy Kisor of Wellston, Dixie Parker of Jackson, Patricia Parker of Logan and Ruby Caudill of Newark and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Peggy Parker and Shirley Parker and brother, James Parker.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, September 26, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Hamden Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
