Jerrel Marilyn Skiver

March 24, 1925 — September 23, 2013

Jerrel Marilyn Skiver, 89, of Logan, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home in Logan. She was born March 24, 1924 in Hardin County, Ohio daughter of the late John Irvin and Luella Barnett Canter. Marilyn was the widow of the late Donald Robert Skiver.

She was a member of Kline Memorial United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Logan Women’s Bowling Association, a charter member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #6430 and she volunteered for over 20 years at Hocking Valley Community Hospital.

Marilyn is survived by her niece, Pam (John) King of Logan; nephews, John Bond of Logan and Doug Warner of St. Pete Beach, Florida and a great nephew, Tim King of Logan.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Bond.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Friday, September 27, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Clarence Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Jerrel Marilyn Skiver to the Hocking County Humane Society, P.O. Box 863, Logan, Ohio 43138 or to Kline Memorial United Methodist Church, 28996 Enterprise-Iles Rd., Logan, Ohio 43138.
