Shelia Kaye Barnett

Shelia Kaye Barnett, 56, of Hamden, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1957 in Wellston, daughter of Herma Young Seymour of Wellston and the late Robert L. Seymour. Shelia was married to Mitch Barnett, who survives.

She formerly worked at Four Winds Nursing Home in Wellston and attended Zion Church.

Shelia is survived by her son, Jeremy (Trista) Barnett of Wellston; daughter, Paula (Steve) Gilliland of Creola; grandchildren, Jacob and Jase Gilliland, Aaliyah and Abriel Barnett and Addison Barnett, who will arrive soon and was named by Shelia; brothers, Curt Seymour of Florida, Bob Seymour of Florida and Don Seymour of Michigan and sisters, Luella Harvey of Wellston, Nancy Skaggs of Hamden and Linda Moore of Lucasville.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dick Seymour.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rob Fulton officiating. Interment will be in Mullins Family Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
