Gerald A. Wallace

Gerald A. “Jerry” Wallace, 75, of Nelsonville, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 29, 1939, in Glouster, son of the late Wilbur and Kathleen Ingram Wallace.

He was a member of the Connett United Methodist Church, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a life member of Nelsonville VFW Post 3467.

He is survived a daughter, Lesley Anne Wallace of Nelsonville; a grandson, Colin Stuart Brooks; a brother Wib (Sandra) Wallace of Nelsonville; an aunt, Audra “Midge” Blum and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Robert VanBibber officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville where a military graveside service will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Service. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 at the funeral home.
