Lucille Elizabeth Conrad, 89, of Lancaster, formerly of Logan, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born May 24, 1924 in New Plymouth, daughter of the late Benjamin and Lottie Pearl Mattox Hall. Lucille was the widow of the late Tracy Conrad.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Church in Lancaster and was the start of four generations of Girl Scouts in her family.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Dawson of Columbus; grandchildren, Terrance Washington, Teresa (Roger) Kazee and Michael Dawson; great grandchildren, Zakaryyah, Arianna, Meghan, Roger and Josh; a brother, Henry Hall of Lancaster; sisters, Roxie Dabney of Columbus, Dollie Shaner of Circleville and Georgianna Woodson of Nelsonville and her dear friend, Stanley Carlisle of Lancaster.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Tracy; daughters, Mary Helen, Karen Ann, Pearl Alberta and Martha Joann; a brother, Gilbert Hall and sisters, Sally Conrad, Virginia Denham and Susie Miller.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor James Dexter and Pastor Ronald Chunn officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5-8 P.M.
