Darrell E. Corbin

Darrell E. Corbin Sr., 66, of Zaleski, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born March 7, 1947 in Vinton County, son of the late Harley and Marie Wigal Corbin. Darrell was married to Shirley Bolton Corbin, who survives.

He was a retired foreman for CSX Railroad.

Darrell is survived by his sons, Darrell E. (Heather Corbin) Corbin Jr. of Zaleski and Harley Corbin of Zaleski; daughters, Jeannie (Gary) Davis of Zaleski, Angie (Gary Foreman) Corbin of Chillicothe and Mary Ann (Roy Nickell) Corbin of Zaleski; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Jim (Deb) Corbin of Albany and two additional daughters, Christine (Scott) Grimes of Oregon and Jerri Corbin of Logan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde F. Corbin.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Ferrell Rood officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Zaleski. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4-8 P.M.
