James Robert Cunningham

James Robert Cunningham, 33, of Columbus, passed away Friday, December 5, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born March 12, 1980, in Athens, son of Sherman L. “Buddy” (Teresa) Cunningham of Murray City and the late Patty Cornell Sonn. James was married to Andrea Kupchik, who survives.

He was a mechanic for Pit Stop Auto Body and Repair.

James is survived by his children, Charles Houtz of Logan, Robert and Shawn Cunningham of Nelsonville and Hannah Cunningham of Carbondale; brothers, Angel “Junior” (Michelle) Sanchez, Travis Cunningham and Lowell Humphrey and sisters, Nancy Sanchez, Angie Sanchez, Tina Sanchez, Brandy Griffin, Susan Wells, Samantha Cunningham, April Cunningham and Tia Swinford.

James' wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
