Tommie E. Haddox Sr.

Tommie E. Haddox Sr., 62, of Ray, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1951 in Circleville, son of the late Herbert S. and Ruth J. Ford Haddox. Tommie was married to Brenda Ferrell Haddox, who survives.

He was formerly employed at Strawser Construction in Columbus and was a member of the Circleville Eagles.

Tommie is survived by his sons, Tommie E. (Jennifer Marie) Haddox of Ray and Matthew E. (Chelsey Marie) Haddox of Circleville; daughters, Nicole (Ryan) Smith of Circleville and Elizabeth (Shawn Schiff) Haddox of New Albany; six grandchildren; brothers, Paul, Herbert, Robert, Kenny, William and Kermit Haddox; sisters, Betty Ann Quincel, Juanita Arledge and Carolyn Hamilton and close friends, Ralph Wolford, Kenny Cox and Jason Lawless.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Haridy Haddox and a sister, Norma Jean Boltenhouse.

Friends may call from 2-4 P.M., Friday, December 20, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Private services will be held at a later date.
