Michael G. Albright, 65, of South Bloomingville, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1948 in Vinton County, son of Ruth Smith Albright of South Bloomingville and the late Rolland M. “Johnny” Albright.
He retired from Georgia Pacific and was a member of the Redman Lodge.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Michelle Browning of Grantsville, West Virginia, Nina Albright of McArthur, Daisy Albright of Zanesville and Ashley (Jerrod Harper) Albright of Londonderry; granddaughter, Grace Harper; brothers, Richard (Mary) Albright of South Bloomingville, John (Roxann) Albright of Hixon, Tennessee, Robert (Irene Kay) Albright of Pataskala and Jerry (Debbie) Albright of South Bloomingville; a sister, Linda (Richard) Barker of Ray; special friends, Chip and Carson Channell and Jame McNichols and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric G. Albright.
A graveside services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in McGee Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Monday, from 4-8 P.M.
