John Bradford Pratt

John Bradford Pratt, 64, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born September 14, 1949 in Athens, son of the late John W. and Corine Atkins Pratt. John was married to Blanche Carlisle Pratt, who survives.

He was a former school bus mechanic for Athens City Schools and an Army Veteran.

John is survived by his daughter, Samantha Pratt of Athens; grandchildren, Bradford L. and Corisa C. Black; brothers, Tommy (Dora) Pratt of Jackson and Donnie Pratt of Zanesville and a sister, Lynn Pratt of Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother and sister, Sydney Lou Hall.

A memorial service will be held 1 P.M., Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Radcliff Fellowship Chapel, State Route 160 and State Route 32, Radcliff, with Pastor Richard Moore officiating. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
