Peggy Louise Mcafoose Mccunn Martinsen

Peggy Louise McAfoose McCunn Martinsen, 91, of McArthur, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born September 15, 1922 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Wilbert and Gladys Harmon McAfoose. Peggy was the widow of the late George Martinsen.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Ladies Club in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Ty McCunn and David (Kimberly) McCunn; grandchildren, Steve (Robin) McCunn, Scott (Kristin) McCunn, Timothy McCunn, Brad (Nicole) McCunn and Katelyn McCunn; great granddaughter, Alexandra McCunn and a daughter-in-law, Dale McCunn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald McCunn; first husband, H. Blair McCunn; brother, Wilbert McAfoose and sisters, Ruth Kneebone and Kay Neiler.

A memorial service will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, February 22, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Jim Eberts officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
