Judy A. Mercer

Judy A. Mercer, 73, of Malta, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born September 16, 1940 in Trimble Township, daughter of the late Charles Elmo and Gladys Love McLaughlin. Judy was married to Claude M. Mercer, who survives.

She retired from NCR Corp in Columbia, South Carolina.

Judy is survived by her sons, Charles Lee Mercer of Malta and Bret Allen Mercer of West Columbia, South Carolina; daughters, Bambi Lynn (Randy) Poore of Malta, Kimberly Ann (Vernon) Johnson of Wichita, Kansas and Tammy Sue Pinner of Cayce, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; a brother, Darold McLaughlin of Malta and a sister, Joan Ward of Columbus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Ace McLaughlin.

A small family service was held. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster.
