Betty F. Van Allen

Betty F. Van Allen, 88, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Jenkins Care Community. She was born May 22, 1925 in Radcliff, daughter of the late Edgar and Celia Hunter Hensler. Betty was married to Joseph W. Van Allen Sr., who survives.

She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Wellston.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Sue Angel of Wellston; granddaughter, Tabatha (Damion) Morse of Rockford, Illinois and great grandchildren, Malary, Mariah, Maxwell and Myles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph W. Van Allen Jr. and brothers, William, Robert, Larry, Donald and Edgar Hensler Jr.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, March 7, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5-7 P.M.
